What is the best time of year to visit Martha’s Vineyard?
You’re vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard this year? Oh my goodness! I don’t know if to congratulate you, or envy you!
Or, maybe you’re just thinking about visiting the island this year.
Either way, you have an amazing vacay taste. I mean, have you seen that island? Even in pictures? It’s the colonial modern dream come true! Not to mention the island also has plenty of attractions to take you back in time to your childhood and positively giving your own kids tons of magical memories to carry for the rest of their lives!
Island in Massachusetts
This island is located in Massachusetts, in the south of Cape Cod and it’s perfect for a family vacation!
At the same time, it’s a place you can enjoy yourself if what you need is a little rest and relaxation and some quiet thinking time.
Nature in Martha’s Vineyard
Being surrounded by a nature so vast that it looks like it creeps into your own self, and the adorable, comfy cottages, this island is perfect for making some use of your free days at work, go on an adventure, maybe have a deep insight and self-discovery time. Who knows? You might return home as a completely different person! Chances are endless in Martha’s Vineyard. Anything can happen, and that’s the beauty of it all.
But, as I said, maybe you’re just considering visiting the island and you need to do your fair share of research for coming to a conclusion whether you will be visiting or not.
Granted, you might need to know when it’s the best time to visit in order to book a reservation at the cottage of your preference, or simply checking out if the weather won’t ruin all the activities you have in mind, and – let me tell you – there’s a lot you won’t want to miss in the island.
Best time to visit Martha’s Vineyard
Well, with all of its tropical air and activities to be performed, the best time to visit the island is in the months from May to September, because it is then that the temperature of the Atlantic Ocean fluctuates between the comfortable 70 degrees and rarely reaches the overly hot 90 degrees.
Of course, this time of the year is still summertime and that means huge, noisy, uncomfortable crowds all around that bring with them trouble finding a good reservation and would probably ruin the quiet time you’re looking for, right? No worries about that, Martha’s Vineyard is also ideal to visit during the autumn season. Contrary to what you might think, the water during this season is still sufficiently warm for you to go swimming or surfing on the blue waters; still a tropical getaway, but a few degrees lower and a little more silent since there won’t be all that much people walking around anymore.
Your adventure is waiting in Martha’s Vinyard
As you can see, basically any time is good for visiting Martha’s Vineyard. Don’t let a few weeks after the end of summer be an impediment for you to witness the beauty of the island by yourself. You are going on an adventure, aren’t you? All times are adventure time.
